UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development

Met gepaste trots heb ik het ontwerp verzorgt voor de startpagina van de website van de ‘United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development’, Hare Majesteit Koningin Máxima.
 
De huidige startpagina is het resultaat van een intensieve samenwerking met Infostreams en de ‘strategic communications officer’ van de ‘United Nations Development Programme’. De nieuwe entree legt helder uit wat de rol van de Special Advocate precies inhoudt en waarom haar werk zo belangrijk is. Met behulp van motion graphics wordt de essentie van de website geïllustreerd. Het geheel heeft een aantrekkelijke, menselijke, kleurrijke en positieve uitstraling. De navigatie is helder en eenvoudig. Onder andere doordat we het aantal opties hebben opgeschoond en alleen kernpunten tonen. De zeer uitgebreide content, die niet bedoeld is voor de casual bezoeker, bevind zich nu in een apart menu waarin ook een herstructurering heeft plaatsgevonden. Deze oude pagina’s zijn nog steeds beschikbaar maar de onderliggende structuur is beter navigeerbaar. Op termijn wordt ook dit deel van de website verder aangepakt. Last but not least: De communicatie-afdeling is blij met het sterk verbeterde CMS dat hen in staat stelt op eenvoudige wijze nieuwe content toe te voegen.

Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

As Special Advocate, Queen Máxima champions universal access to affordable, effective, and safe financial services for the poor. Collaborating closely with global and national partners, she raises awareness, encourages leadership, works to break down barriers, and supports action to expand financial inclusion. Queen Máxima is also honorary patron of the G20’s Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion and serves as a Global Agenda Trustee for the World Economic Forum’s Global Challenge Initiative on the Future of the Global Financial System. In the Netherlands, she is a member of the Committee for Entrepreneurship and Finance and honorary chair of the Dutch Money Wise Platform.
